This new formula, includes Vitamin C as calcium ascorbate and magnesium ascorbate, which is preferred as it is gentle to the gut due to its neutral pH and therefore not in an acidic form such as conventional Vitamin C (ascorbic acid).
It is unique as it is manufactured via a proprietary, water-based process that yields a natural metabolite of Vitamin C which enhance the body’s ability to use the Vitamin C. The presence of this metabolite means that there is greater uptake and overall bioavailability compared to regular ascorbic acid.
Nutra C delivers its Vitamin C in this highly available form because it is bonded with calcium and magnesium and contains the naturally occurring Vitamin C metabolite, Calcium Threonate. This naturally occurring metabolite of Vitamin C is easily recognized by the body and is quickly taken up by the cells of the body.
